In Need of Chocolates

I assume you've somehow heard of the saying 'Happiness is a choice.' Even before this was introduced in our Lasaret (LaSallian Retreat) last January or when my friend, Misha, mentioned it in her blog recently, I've always believed that everyone can be happy whenever he/she wants to ecperience it.

However, sometimes, it's not enough for you to choose to be happy if others just choose to make you sad. Some of you might say that it's the sadness or the pessimism talking. But when you think about it, I actually have a point.

As Nicholas Sparks' mother would say, what you want and what you get are two different things and that nobody promised life to be fair. True-laloo. It's not always possible to cut Charmie's hair (Yes, my friend allowed me to cut her hair for about two inches shorter, which made me feel better and worthy) to lift my spirits up--as if her hair grows an inch each day--whenever someone thinks of dragging me into the world of loneliness.

Mood: Reluctant. Apathetic. Gloomy.
