I am a Fountain

"Be like the fountain that overflows, not like the cistern that merely contains... It was dangerous to overflow, because we might end up flooding areas occupied by our loved ones and drowning them with our love and enthusiasm." --Paulo Coelho, Veronika Decides To Die.

But being a cistern is not healthy. Thus, I am a fountain.

Life, with or without a job, is hard.
If you're unemployed, you don''t have money. If you're employed, you run out of money, because you need a lot of things for work. You need shoes. With heels. You need make-up. You need cellphone loads, because your company doesn't subsidize and your bosses ask a lot through texts. And lastly, I need a lot of chocolates to somehow cover the misery in my life that I got out of stress and pressure. I need a lot of serotonin or endorphins from these chocolates that would uplift the status of emotions. I repeat, I need a lot. I know some of my friends are tired of hearing out my unending outcry about hell work and my plan of resigning which I can't push through because of my pathetic excuses. I just need chocolates. And I need a job that doesn't have much people to interfere on your tasks.

Jeepneys

Who said only people have personalities? have stereotypes?
Well, well, well. For four months that I have been paying seven pesos for a jeepney ride to and from work, I have observed that jeepneys have different personalities. Since I've been living in Manila area, the jeepneys I usually take in Manila are different from the jeepneys I take to and from work. I find the Manila jeeps to be tamer. And the jeepneys in Pasig are louder. And are modern and hippies. Why? They have the "pull string to stop" thingy. And they are literally loud. They play hard hiphop and r 'n b music each and every day that they drive down those streets. Whoa. Haha.
